“Client” – Ops 2 Job Description

Level: 12
Location: Bangalore

Ops 2 Profile - The analyst will work on process that involves editing, processing GIS maps and add objects such as places of interest, road signs, speed limits, building, addresses and turn by turn directions.

Key Responsibilities / Activities


• Responsible directing operators to work areas, ensuring what’s next is on track, what’s in progress is on track, and what is complete is registered as complete.
• Responsible for completing scheduled work areas on time per the SOP for Map Improvement.
• Responsible for ensuring the map is free of defects and at the appropriate quality level for production publishing.
• Responsable for resolving post production publishing defects or ongoing maintenance.
• As needed team responsible for performing activities in support of Map Improvement, file bugs against tools, produce reports, and pre-production testing.
• Review to ensure imagery quality
• Extracts data from imagery and “tags” the image with the extracted data.


Skills Requirements
• Experience working on image editing software such as Photoshop, CAD/CAM etc. or other content editing software
• 0-1 years of experience working on a GIS mapping editing and improvement process preferred
• High Attention to detail
• Lack of color blindness and vision impairment
• Excellent Hand eye coordination (keyboard, mouse, and eye movement - two hands are required)
• High Ability to reason and deal with subjective and conflicting data
• High Ability to examine image style, color, and determine when something looks visually unappealing
• High Ability to read and type in English,
• Ability to memorize 45+ keyboard and keyboard mouse combinations.
• Familiar with using smartphones, and getting directions on a smartphone
• High Ability to use a map, navigate between
