• Business/Requirement Analysis • Automation Policy Design • Automation build and functional testing • Production of Run and User Guide documents Desired Skills, Qualifications and Experience: Knowledge and Skills: • BMC Attrium Orchestrator • Broad, up-to-date, industry experience and knowledge • A broad understanding of one or more technologies used during policy development including is desirable: • SQL coding • Scripting • InfoPath forms development • Application development • Additionally a broad knowledge of the technologies to be automated would be beneficial: • Server - Intel (HP, IBM, Dell hardware), Unix (HPUX, Solaris, AIX) • Network – Cisco, Checkpoint • Storage - NetApp, EMC, HP • OS & Application - Microsoft (Windows Server 2000/2003, SQL Server, Exchange, AD, BizTalk, etc.), Oracle, ERP, BMC (BEM, Patrol, Ctrl-M, Marimba, Remedy ITSP/ITSM) Essential: • Good documentation skills • Ability to communicate effectively • Understanding of application development, testing and release lifecycle Personality: • Professional • Team player • Resourceful and adaptable • Critical analysis and problem solving Key Responsibilities: • Participate in delivery of the Application Operations and Support Service according to defined service level agreement • Development of accurate estimates for Work Requests submitted to him/her • Participate in delivery of a quality service with commitment to customer service and ownership of issues • Hands on management of daily incidents and problems • Provide inputs to the Team Lead to help him with the analysis of AOP Automation incidents to determine patterns to drive future initiatives • Identification of continual improvement initiatives to reduce incident volumes and increase application availability • Proactive in identifying and proposing solutions relating to all processes • Continually improve and promote standards and procedures for all processes in IMS Tools • Work with rest of the team to deliver solutions/deliverables to client on time and within budget • Develop workflows and fully automated solutions utilizing Opalis and the BMC suite of tools. • Become involved in development and support projects where necessary to fit in with requirements. • Participate in a 24X7 Oncall rota • In the future possibly be required to participate in Shift work (relevant shift uplift to salary would be included when and if this becomes a requirement) o Role: Automation build and Run support o Skill: BMC Attrium Orchestrator o Minimum Skill Requirement: (~3-4 pointers against each item)
