Job description:
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out periodical filings under various labour law enactments including Labour Welfare Fund Act, Employment Exchange Act, Apprentice Act, Payment of Gratuity Act, Payment of Bonus Act, Shops Act, Contract Labour Act etc.
• Handle inspections, audits and ongoing compliance activities under various central and state enactments with the collaboration of internal as well as external stakeholders.
• Interact with external consultants regularly for compliance required under applicable laws.
• Participate in the process improvement and record keeping program and coordinate with internal as well as cross functional teams.
• Work closely and collaboratively with stakeholders such as Legal, HR, Procurement, Controllership and Workplace to handle statutory and regulatory compliance related issues.
• Maintain and update compliance calendar, trackers, periodical reports and repositories.
Educational Qualification:
• LLB
• CS, MBA (HR) or MSW candidates with good relevant experience can be considered

Work Experience:
• Experience in handling labour laws issues in compliance, in-house legal, external legal and/or auditing role will be preferred
• 2+ years of experience preferred
• Experience in collaborating with stakeholders
Work Requirements:
• Travel as required
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
• Demonstrated proficiency in using MS Office
• Superior analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Legal research, due diligence, documentation
