The Global Industry and Function Best Practices BP Lead will lead a team of people to drive improvements in how industry and functional programs are run by identifying and sharing best practices and implementing standard practices.
•S or he The Global Industry and Function BP Lead will lead oversee the team which will analyze each industry or functions operations and program ooperating model.
•By doing this across industries and functions common activities or processes will become evident.
•The team will identify best practices for these common activities and drive these as standards. With a deeper understanding of each industry or functions operating model the team will also be able to recommend which activities can be done by a central team and other ways to increase operational efficiency.
•The team will develop and implement common planning assumptions for use by Industries and Functions and will monitor execution of strategic objectives.
•This team is in a unique and highly visible position to realize significant operational efficiencies by working across industries and functions.
•Team members will work closely with all the different functions within an industry ranging from process modeling to research to marketing to sales.
•While industry expertise is not required over time each team member will be expected to understand the internal workings of specific Accenture industry programs and become an expert on those. develop a portfolio of industries that they become experts on.
•The Global Industry and Function Best Practices Lead will report directly to the Industries and Market Innovation andMI Offering Development Center of Expertise Lead and will work closely with counterparts on the Industry and Function program teams.their counterparts in the Center of Expertise Function and Industry areas.
•Understand current program processes
•Define and refine the industries operating models working with industry program leads and mapping detailed processes for each industry activity
•Create guidelines for the operating model
•Analyze and evaluate the value-add in the processes
•Identify and share the best process employed
•Create maintain and deploy a common database of best practices
•Implement standard best practices where appropriate
•Develop and maintain a set of common planning assumptions and guidelines for use by the Industries and Specialties.
•Standardize the industrys processes of planning reporting and process mapping by supplying appropriate templates
•Develop guidelines on the cost of implementing different levels of high performance work
•Create a process model for the best practices function itself
•Develop measurement methods .dashboards. for assessing progress against objectives
•Report progress against strategic objectives and priorities to leadership
•Work closely with Industry and Function financial reporting and analysis functions
•Interface with finance and operations the high performance program office etc.
•Work closely with GTIN leadership to leverage appropriate resources
•Lead a team of 5-10 resources. Responsible for the career development and team management of the
Best Practices operations including but not limited to on boarding performance management employee engagement training and retention programs. 5+ years of business experience 3+ years of project management experience 3+ years of experience working with MS Office Suite .MS Word MS Powerpoint MS Excel MS Project. 3+ years of budget or financial management and analysis experience. 4+ years of management consulting experience growing and developing a deep and broad professional network 3+ years experience developing and managing programs 1+ years of experience developing or maintaining at least one Accenture offering – OR- 1+ years of experience developing or maintaining at least one professional services offering within the consulting industry outside Accenture
