Accenture is engaged in an ongoing program of improving the way the Industry Programs and Consulting Practices operate, to improve efficiencies, save cost, and bring innovation to clients faster. The Program management and Operations (PM&Ops) team is part of Accenture Strategy. The PM&Ops Industry Program specialist (L9) will be part of the PM&Ops team that provides operations support to FS OG. We are looking for a Data Scientist who will support Industry Program Managers team with insights gained from analyzing data. The ideal candidate should be adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for product and process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action. He/She must have strong experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations. He/She must have a proven ability to drive business results with their data-based insights and must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams. The right candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.

ACCOUNTABILITIES Answerable/Liable for success
• Scope of work:
o Act as a business partner to industry / practice leads, by providing data-driven insights and help run strategic market development initiatives
o Provide analysis for programs that include pipeline improvement initiatives, win/loss, account planning and campaign management.
o Applying machine learning models to solve real-world problems (i.e. with multiple stake holders) as part of their on-the-job duties
o Emphasis on analysis and model development, but experience deploying a model for an end-to-end app solution of some sort
o Implement advanced machine learning skills using python or R: clustering, regression, classification.
o Assess model performance; train multiple models; carry out hyperparameter tuning.
o Create familiarity with deep learning.
o Transform and clean data into an appropriate form for statistical analysis.
o Use inferential statistics to gain insight into problems and guide decision making.
o Work with domain experts to identify areas where predictive analytics can take us to the next level.

o Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
o Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of margin, winning opportunities and business strategies.
• Stakeholder management
o Conducting regular update meetings with stakeholders.
o Identifying and managing issues and crisis proactively
o Partnering with stakeholders to provide business advice
o Managing conflicting stakeholder priorities
• Production management
o Hands on – production of reports, scorecards other deliverables and analysis
o Juggle multiple requests, prioritize according to stakeholder needs
o Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
o Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes.
o Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
o Responsible for data accuracy, timeliness, and overall work set up and execute QA process and peer reviews.
o Act as a back-up of resources to ensure continuity in service delivery
