The selected candidate will be part of the Statutory Compliance Team which supports Accenture and its subsidiaries in carrying out compliance activities as per various central and state enactments. The candidate will report to the Notices Tower Lead and will assist in handling notices and statutory inspections by labour authorities PAN India.
• Work closely with the Notices Tower Lead on statutory notices inspections audits and ongoing compliance activities under various central and state enactments.
• Independently handle statutory notices inspections and audits with the collaboration of internal as well as external stakeholders.
• Interact with external consultants regularly for compliance required under notices and inspections.
• Participate in the process improvement and recordkeeping program and coordinate with internal as well as cross functional teams.
• Work closely and collaboratively with stakeholders such as Legal HR Procurement Controllership and Workplace to handle statutory and regulatory compliance related issues.
• Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk.
• Creating awareness of statutory provisions or laws across all functions.
• Assist in identification of compliance and regulatory risks implications and recommend actions for mitigating those risks.
• Ensure timely closure of Inspection notices issued with appropriate reply and documentations within specified Turnaround time.
• Liaison with various statutory authorities and legal advisors on legal issues notices of non-compliances received and ensure closure of the same.
• Prepare Action Taken Reports post submitting responses to notices and inspections highlighting the gaps on compliance front.
• Maintain and update trackers periodical reports and repositories.
• Minimum LL.B.
• Experience in handling labour laws issues in compliance in-house legal external legal and or or auditing role
• 5+ years of experience
• Experience in collaborating with stakeholders such as legal HR project teams clients vendors consultants procurement and senior management.
