Detailed Description of Role and Responsibilities: CDAT function helps Accenture’s Solution Architects team during the solutioning phase to analyze the contractual gaps from solutioning perspective .i.e. what is solutioned vs what is agreed under the contract.. Over the fiscal year 2017 this team has analyzed over 200 contracts across the geographies CDAT analyzes solution plan and the contract documents and identify the gaps based on the impact it might have on financials or legally to Accenture. CDAT professional also review or highlight if there is a financial impact and or or if we are deviating from standard AO practices. The objectives of this role includes providing Alert on financial gaps due to: non-standard TandCs or high risk SLA’s delivery commitments etc. in the contract. The role also includes summary briefing of gaps with Solution Architect legal and other relevant stakeholders and joint review of the CDAT checklist during subsequent iterations due to revisions in Contracts and Solution. On request CDAT SME also participates in opportunity discussions on legal TandCs to point out ambiguity in TandCs. Key Responsibilities: The key responsibility of CDAT function is to see: • If the contract is in alignment to the solution plan. • Are all the key assumptions Accenture has made during solution shaping clearly mentioned in the contract and vice versa and if there are any gaps highlight them to SA for closure before contract gets signed CDAT SME is required to demonstrate: • Strong command on unique Contract clauses like COLA FX Benchmarking sweeps clause step-in clause insurance audit Termination limitation of liability and other financial clauses. • Ability to set priorities and juggle multiple demands • Strong working relationship with onshore delivery or SA leads • Exposure to managing contracts across all Geography. • Basic understanding of contracting principles and market dynamics with strong ability to read analyze and advise on low to mid-high complexity contracts • Ability to work with minimum or no supervision in an end-to-end manner and to respond swiftly in high pressure situations in a detail-oriented organized and flexible manner. Resource should be able to take independent ownership for his or her analysis. • Proven ability or examples of managing business interface at different level. • Strong time management skills and ability to manage delivery commitments with professional and positive attitude • Good communication skills as team speaks to CAL or TAL and other senior executives on regular basis from different geographies.
