JOB SUMMARY
• The role is of a TL Research Analyst (L10-L11 G&S Broadband)
• The Research Analyst will work with a team, being led by a Managing Director or Associate Director, driving new-to-market points of view and reports on cross-industry research themes relevant to present and future growth of Accenture.
• She/he will be responsible to shape differentiated research ideas and actively conduct research using relevant research methods and tools in collaboration with research teams within Accenture Research, its various businesses and outside Accenture.
• This role will be based in Gurgaon
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (BULLETS)
• Insightful and analytical thinking: we are keen to have an individual capable of identifying, developing and driving differentiated, data-driven insights.
• Quantitative and qualitative research methods and tools: the researcher must be adept with quantitative and qualitative research methods, including structuring excel models, regression and time-series analysis; case study research; conducting financial analysis of company performance and interpreting quantitative data.
• Business-writing aptitude: the candidate must have a penchant for business writing that bring insights to life for a C-suite audience.
• Digital acumen: the candidate must have business (and not detailed technical) knowledge on digital technologies and their applications to driving value across various industries.
• Collaboration skills: the researcher must be open to collaborating with a diverse multi-cultural and multi-lingual workforce constituting women, LGBT communities and individuals with disabilities, amongst others. Experience of working with remote teams’ will be welcome.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• M.B.A (Finance/Marketing); M.A./M.Sc. (Economics); M.A./M.Sc. (Econometrics)
• Doctoral (PhD) candidates in management and economics are also welcome
• Highest level of English language proficiency (spoken and written)
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
• A full-time post-graduate degree/qualification MBA/PGDM/M.A./M.Sc. is a must.
• Minimum of 1+ years (max 3 years) business research experience, preferably in a consulting or IT services environment, or demonstrated equivalent skill.
• Understanding of business and economics issues at large
• Experience of writing reports, and creating presentation on MS PowerPoint
• Experience with alternative modes of research delivery/data visualization tools is a plus (e.g., Tableau etc.)
