Job Summary

You will be aligned with our Procurement vertical and help us in the process of finding and agreeing to terms, and acquiring goods, services, or works from an external source, often via a tendering or competitive bidding process. Procurement is used to ensure the buyer receives goods, services, or works at the best possible price when aspects such as quality, quantity, time, and location are compared.

You will be working as a part of Procurement management team which uses a systematic approach for buying all the goods and services needed for a company to stay sustainable. They are involved in the identification of need, finding and qualifying the suppliers, requesting proposals, negotiating with suppliers, contracting, delivery and analyzing results.

You will be responsible for e- Procurement where in you will be involved in Self-service requisitioning application that controls employee spending. This allows employees to manage their own requisitions from searching for items and submitting requisitions to tracking statuses and changing requisitions-all while identifying exceptions, enforcing policies, and controlling employee buying. Skill Requirements for this role are having knowledge of requisition processing / procurement workflow and documentation management, knowledge of MS office applications such as MS Word, Excel, Power point etc., knowledge on SAP SRM would be an added advantage.

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of lower-complexity problems. Interaction is with peers within Accenture before updating supervisors. Likely has limited exposure with clients and/or Accenture management. Moderate level instruction on daily work tasks and detailed instructions on new assignments would be provided. Decisions impact own work and may impact the work of others . Individual contributor as a part of a team, with a focused scope of work.
