Job Description

Lead client implementations of HealthEdge’s HealthRules system by designing the architecture for clients’ business rules configuration of provider contracts and benefits and collaborating with health plan clients and managing teams to design and build configuration

 

Primary Role Responsibilities

  • Architect the optimal provider contract and benefit structures in HealthRules for each client’s business and requirements
  • Design approach for translating provider contract and benefit summary provisions into HealthRules configuration parameters (e.g., fee schedules, benefit components) and HealthRules Language
  • Operate the HealthRules system to pay claims, run billing cycles, enroll members, setup providers
  • Develop configuration test plans, test configuration, troubleshoot defects and document testing results and lead client and Accenture teams to perform these activities
  • Facilitate clients to gather configuration requirements and validate prototypes and testing
  • Solution and advise on new and enhancements to Accenture’s assets and lead Accenture teams to perform these activities



Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of functional experience in the health payer industry, specifically in provider contract and pricing rule configuration, benefits configuration or claims adjustments or appeals
  • Experience interpreting and leading teams to interpret professional, facility and ancillary provider contracts or benefit summaries and grids into systematic business rules
  • 1 year of experience implementing or supporting HealthEdge’s HealthRules software and with HealthRules Language (HRL) preferred
  • 5+ years configuration experience on similar payer systems (e.g. Facets)
  • Experience working on a full life cycle project adhering to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience leading teams of at least 5+ resources
