Vani decided to re-start her professional journey after a break of more than a year because she was yearning to get back to her corporate career. She believes being back at work helps her leverage past experience and knowledge garnered over the years, along with making her financially independent. On re-joining Accenture post her break, she fondly remembers on how seamlessly she was absorbed in the flow of things and never felt like it was her “first day” at work. She feels with the ethos and culture as nurturing as this one, it’s a “privilege to be a working mother”.
Pallavi joined Accenture Operations, Bangalore last year after a career break of over five years. Post her Masters in Finance and Management from La Trobe University, Melbourne; she started her professional journey as a Finance Executive in 2008. After getting married and being blessed with a child, she made the choice to focus on her personal priorities but her zeal for professional pursuit got her back to the corporate world. “ I am mighty glad to have re-started my second inning with Accenture; I got back to starting exactly where I left and it feels great to be back in action with an employer that empowers you to balance work and life”.
