Andrea Brückner is the managing director of Accenture’s Life Sciences industry group, with responsibility for growing and developing the Life Sciences practice in Europe, Africa and Latin America as well as Germany, Austria and Switzerland. She has more than 15 years of experience in the life sciences industry and has lived and worked in Europe and North America.
Andrea has dedicated her entire career to working in the life sciences industry around the world, focusing on the pharmaceutical, generics and consumer health. Previously to Accenture, she worked for multiple years in the Healthcare practice of Arthur D. Little International in Switzerland and in the United States. Andrea also gained industry experience while working for Boehringer Mannheim/Roche in the United Kingdom and Germany as a business analyst strategic planning for Consumer Health Care and Biochemicals, prior to joining Consulting.
One of Andrea´s deepest areas of expertise is commercial, and she has worked with numerous clients on topics of commercial effectiveness, sales force optimization, multi-channel and digital enablement, market and sales optimization, and functional excellence.
In addition, she has extensive experience in in various corporate and business unit strategy development, large scale transformation and process optimization.
Andrea has studied Business Administration and attended graduated courses in Marketing & Sales at Harvard Extension School. She has authored several articles and hold speeches on Life Sciences related topics.
She is based in Frankfurt, Germany.
