Joining one of Accenture’s many clubs and societies is a great way to relax whilst expanding your network within Accenture.

Joining one of Accenture’s many clubs and societies is a great way to relax whilst expanding your network within Accenture. Our clubs are about having fun, catering to beginners and experts alike, and there are regular trips away to look forward to. Learn more about some of our clubs and societies open to people working in Ireland.


Accenture’s employee choir concentrates on developing vocal ability, confidence and having fun. Everyone is welcome to join this group, who perform at numerous events throughout the year. The choir has performed alongside Julie Feeney, Duke Special and the RTÉ Concert Orchestra.

Climbing/Mountaineering Club

This club organises rock climbing and hiking adventures across Ireland’s most scenic areas. The club caters for beginner hikers and climbers, all the way up to the more experienced veterans. The club organises hikes every month, ranging from Lugnaquilla to Slieve Donard in Mournes Mountain, and rock climbing every three months.

Cookery Club

If you have an interest in cooking, then the cookery club will definitely put your skills in the kitchen to the test. They organise regular hands-on cookery sessions in Dublin city centre conducted by an experienced tutor. Whether you’re a dab hand in the kitchen or a complete beginner, the Cookery Club is the place for you.

Cumann Gaelach

This club aims to promote the use of the Irish language and members engage with fellow Irish speakers within Accenture. The club accommodates speakers at a beginner, intermediate and fluent level. Trips have included a Céilí Mór, a tour of the Blasket Islands (Kerry), Arial Tour of Aran Islands (Galway), Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann (Derry), and a weekend in an ancient castle (Clare).


This is Accenture’s Sports and Social club and members can avail of a wide assortment of activities including pub quizzes, sports nights and theatre outings. Regular events encourage people to get together in a social context. Recent outings have included Pottery Painting, Wizza Night (Wii & Pizza) at Grand Canal Plaza, and Bubble Football!

GAA Club

This club has been promoting Gaelic games across the company for the last 15 years. The club plays at a social and a competitive level. The Accenture GAA club competes in the Dublin inter-firm championships each year and holds a number of social events throughout the year.

Golf Society

The Golf society brings golfers of all levels together for monthly trips to some of Ireland’s most remarkable golf courses. Previous trips have included the 2011 Solheim Cup course, Palmerstown House and the 2006 Ryder Cup course.

Multi Sport

This is a club for all you athletes out there! This club aims to facilitate Accenture’s hyper active employees. It comprises a wide variety of activities including Fun Runs, 10ks, Aquathons, Duathlons, Triathlons, Adventure Races and Ironman events.

Photography Club

Are you a photography enthusiast? The Accenture Photography Club is a community of photo fanatics who share their knowledge, improve photography skills, and share camera reviews and tips. They hold competitions, attend key events and teach others the fundamentals of photography during workshops.

Rowing Club

The rowing club row for fun and competitively through Neptune Rowing Club in Islandbridge. They start off with a six week training camp in the summer, leading to an epic battle between different crews. There’s also a trip to the Henley Royal Regatta to watch the best in the world in action.

Rugby Club

Accenture’s Rugby club look for both males and females for their teams. The experience levels range from complete beginners to seasoned pros. They often hold friendly matches, travel to other Rugby clubs and organise events to raise money for local charities. There’s also Tag rugby available for people that want to join just for fun.

Sailing Club

Accenture’s Sailing Club offer beginners and experienced sailors the opportunity to sail at some of Ireland’s best clubs and in Dublin Bay before returning ashore for a barbeque dinner and a bit of après sail. They also organise numerous sailing events and the club participates in several races throughout the year in various leagues.

Ski and Snowboard Club

Ever wanted to do the downhill at Kitzbühel or get some air in the park at the x-games? Well now you can learn to ski or board with the Accenture Ski & Snowboard Club! Whether you are an absolute beginner, seasoned pro or trying to keep up with the kids, you can to join for lessons as well as the annual trip to a resort in Europe.

Soccer Club

Every year, the men’s and ladies’ Accenture soccer squads are entered into summer and winter leagues. They also send a team to partake in the Accenture EuroSoccer Tournament each summer, held in a different city each year. Summer & winter season leagues are played on astroturf pitches, with referees provided.

Surf Club

The surf club in Accenture arranges some amazing weekend surf trips to great surf spots around Ireland. This is a great club to meet new people and caters to surfers of all ability levels. The club organises equipment, lessons as well as getting you to the waves to test out your skills.


This social club is open to all employees of Accenture Ireland and everyone is automatically a member. It runs three events per year which are generously subsidised by the club. The fun events comprise of exciting activities which provide a good opportunity for you to grow your network within Accenture.
