Welcome to Leaders of Tomorrow - Accenture’s Early Stage Entrepreneur Accelerator.
This is a summer programme designed to foster entrepreneurship in third-level students and recent graduates; to connect them with other enterprising people and help them collectively transform innovative, early-stage ideas into thriving businesses.
We are looking for individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit who will be assigned to multidisciplinary teams based on skill, vision, and shared value.
The programme will run from late-March 2019 until the final showcase competition in August, where one winning team will be awarded with €10,000* in seed-funding.
This free programme is open to current third-level students and those who have graduated within the past 24-months. We're looking for people who:

Our 2017 winners, Ailbhe and Isabel (Izzy) Keane from Izzy Wheels spotted a gap in the medical devices market for wheelchairs that express their user’s individuality. They have developed a range of stylish, waterproof, wheel covers in 3 sizes and fit onto any manual wheelchair.

Since winning the Leaders of Tomorrow competition in 2017, the pair have been named in Forbes’ European List of 30 Under 30 in Retail & eCommerce, featured in Vogue, and their INSIDER Art video has over 17 million views.

We will assess your application and invite suitable candidates to our Collaboration & Team-Forming event on March 28th & 29th in Dublin, where we'll match people up based on their skills, abilities, passions and interests.

The Summer Accelerator Programme & Final Competition
Based on your engagement at the event, your newly formed team may be invited to join the Summer Accelerator Programme from late-May to the final showcase competition in August 2019.

Teams will participate in workshops and sessions with Accenture leaders, guest speakers, mentors and industry experts. The sessions will be tailored to provide the best guidance, opportunities, and resources for you and your start-up.
Participants will receive invaluable advice, insights and mentorship from Accenture's global collective of innovators, from a variety of diverse backgrounds and experiences. For example, Design, Software Engineering, Business, AR/VR, and beyond.
Accenture will host 6 x full-day workshops, spaced out every 1 -2 weeks to guide you in areas like:
These workshops will take place on weekdays and will be hosted the offices of various Accenture building, including our Global HQ, The Dock and Rothco.

At the end of the Summer Accelerator, each team will present at the Leaders of Tomorrow Final Showcase Day in front of panel of judges, potential investors, interested parties from the start-up community, friends and family. A winner will then be selected by the panel of judges.
Accenture take no equity in return for the €10,000* prize funding. What happens to the investment is up to the entrepreneurs!

Step 2: Invitation to Phase 2
The team will assess your application and if you are a good fit for the programme, you will receive an invitation to the Phase 2 event via email by Friday, March 22nd 2019.
Step 3: Join us at the Collaboration & Team-Forming Event
The 2-day event will take place in Dublin on Thursday and Friday, March 28th & 29th 2019.
Step 4: Receive offer to join the Leaders of Tomorrow Summer Accelerator Programme
The Summer Accelerator Programme sessions and workshops will commence in late-May 2019 and conclude with the Final Showcase Day and competition winner announcement in August. Date and venue to be confirmed.
