Your Role

Join our Utilities Industry Practice within Strategy & Consulting, where we help Ireland's leading energy system operators and utilities companies achieve their climate action targets. Bring your expertise to deliver ground-breaking projects and industry transformation. You'll support clients with across a range of services, from industry advisory services and consulting to delivering transformation programmes end to end.
Qualifications
Your background
We are looking for experienced utilities practitioners and leaders who have proven experience in the utilities sector. The ideal candidate can develop and cultivate long-term client relationships, become key contributors in multidisciplinary cross-functional project teams, embrace diversity and inclusion, and are creative problem solvers with a passion for driving energy transition goals.
- Relevant undergraduate/master’s degree in a business, engineering, technical or economic field;
- 12+ years of relevant utility industry experience in a role helping to deliver climate action targets or the energy/utilities market, or 10+ years in a consulting role, with experience in large-scale transformation programmes;
- Proven ability to drive strategic initiatives, project roadmaps, and delivery excellence to achieve client and organizational goals.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, ensuring high-quality outcomes and alignment with Accenture's standards.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills;
- Build trusted client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Drive, enjoy a challenge, proven ability to adapt and remove obstacles to achieve results, with a focus on continuous development and curiosity about the latest industry and technology trends;
- Experienced storyteller with data and ability to communicate findings to a non-technical audience;
- Mentor and develop teams, fostering a culture of growth, engagement, and high performance.
Set yourself apart, do you have…
- Quantitative and analytical skills
- Experience balancing multiple partners across multiple business and technical groups
- Knowledge of the energy system and utility industry in Ireland, Northern Ireland, Great Britain, or Europe
- Experience in building and growing sales opportunities
