Accenture’s Security Practice is one of the fastest growing areas of the business with significant growth plans through additional recruitment and acquisitions. The Digital Forensic and incident Response Specialist provides advisory and technical support to help our clients respond to Cyber Security incidents and improve their Information Security posture. You will provide information security domain expertise and utilise your eye for business to work multi-functionally with our clients to advise and investigate cyber security incidents.

What you will do?

  • Investigate, contain and respond to cyber incidents;
  • Perform digital forensics investigations, containment and root cause analysis;
  • Produce high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings;
  • Utilize different investigation tools to conduct investigations and examine endpoint and network-based evidence;
  • Develop and continuously improve digital forensics and incident response methods;
  • Implement remediation plans in response to incidents;
  • Work in interesting environments including large Enterprise, Cloud, Operational Technology and IOT;
  • Contributing to business development.


Skills and Experience:

You will have some or all of the following skills and experiences:

  • Host, Network and cloud forensics experience.

  • Hands on experience with forensic (Encase, Magnet Forensic, X-Ways, Volatility, etc).

  • Infrastructure and Network Security experience;

  • Experience working with threat intelligence, security incident response, data analytics, legal and forensic investigation teams.

  • Network and Endpoint security experience: IDS, IPS, EDR, Malware defenses and security monitoring experience.

  • Good written skills with capability to create well-formatted reports.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Hands-on technical delivery experience, in Digital Forensic and Incident Response.

  • Masters qualification

  • DFIR qualifications including GCFE, GCFA, GNFA, GREM, EnCE or similar
