This role requires a high level of organisation, great trouble-shooting skills & strong attention to detail. The job involves supporting producers and account teams alike. This person will play a key role in the management of advertising content from a legal, regulatory, rights & relationship management and risk management perspective. They will have extensive experience in negotiating content deals and will be familiar with the media landscape. They will have an understanding of legal issues relating to content creation. Will be able to work effectively in a complex environment with diverse stakeholders including senior management, operations, legal counsel plus technology and content teams.


Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage and mitigate the risks associated with content programs in tech, digital, experiential, print, radio and TV buys. In particular identify and flag risks relating to intellectual property, the regulatory enviornment, CPI, ASAI, APA, SAG-AFTRA or other foreign union bodies and non-union talent contracting.

  • Vet vendors for compliance with contracting guidelines.

  • Manage a heavy volume of correspondence and contracts. Draft, negotiate and administer complex agreements in collaboration with Accenture Legal.

  • Giving advice from script level for any clearances or licensing necessary.

  • General knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights.

  • Ability to understand and identify agency/client liability concerns and interpret standard legal documents like vendor agreements, insurance, releases etc.

  • Work closely with production insurance specialist in ensuring that individual productions are adequately insured depending on reqirements and ensuring pre shoot insurance declarations are completed by each producer.

  • Rights Acquisition – handle everything from research to final negotiations for commercial use of film clips, use of film in print, quoting published authors, or acquiring publicity rights.

  • Liaising with lawyers and clients on behalf of the agency

  • Create, implement and manage processes in relation to being part of Accenture.

  • Gatekeeper of all client production and travel guidelines.

  • Creating production contracts for animators, illustrators, production companies etc

  • Manage team for tracking usage

  • Manage team for licensing children

  • Manage team for licensing music

  • Manage team for licensing famous clips and brands

  • Manage team for contracting artists

  • Manage team for stills & image clearance

  • Celebrity negotiations and working with legal to draft celebrity deal memos and long form contracts.

  • Folder management

  • Managing influencer relationships

  • Keeping up to date with best industry practice

  • Manages and mentors Business Affairs Manager and Business Affairs Admin Support who will assist in all administration of above duties.

·       5+ years relevant work experience with a working knowledge of Agency, Media or Creative Industry Business Affairs. Ablility to manage and mentor a team of people.
