About the Person:

  • As a Creative Project Manager, you will be the day to day manager of projects within the Content & Social practice.

  • A critical role in the agency the Project Manager will own the ‘work in progress on all projects through the business working with the group companies to maximise collaboration and integration opportunities from Project initiation to final delivery.

  • In addition to overseeing the cycle of all project deliverables, you will own the production of creative content projects, from brief to final delivery.

  • Working closely with the Resource teams, you will ensure projects are accurately resourced with the right talent across the agency.

  • Always three steps ahead - you will ensure everyone on the project team is informed on the next steps and clearly outlined their responsibility and accountability.

  • You will gently guide the project team using the agency process, methodology and systems to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

  • You will be flexible (the only constant changes but how you handle that change can make or break any experience or project, flexibility engenders creative thinking)

  • As the pivotal point of the project team, you will be working on projects with multiple channel deliverables, driving large multi-disciplinary teams of people to deliver integrated projects on time and within budget successfully.


  • The Creative Project Manager is responsible for successfully delivering multiple channel deliverables by driving large multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated projects on time and budget successfully.

  • At the heart of the project team, you will ensure everyone knows their responsibilities and what the next steps are in the process to keep the work in progress in motion.

  • You will advise Resource Management on a monthly, weekly and daily basis of the resource requirements for incoming client projects.

  • You will diarise all meetings through the project initiation phase.

  • You will ensure that all departments outside the business unit are bought in early in the process. The sessions requiring ‘Senior outsiders’ are diarised in advance to confirm attendance.

  • You will support Gangs in resourcing reference materials for ideation sessions and on available technology and creative collaborators throughout the process, always looking for the most creative solution.

  • You will ensure that all briefs are signed off internally and that account teams have got the necessary client approvals before briefs are accepted and time is spent by the Gangs and creative teams, escalating non-compliance.

  • You will gather information from specialist depts. (prod/tech/studio etc) and consolidate this information into CPA’s and estimates.

  • You will combine this information with business unit hours for presentation to Pricing, Project Director and Account Director for approval ensuring all information is continually updated to Workbook for immediate reconciliation and billing purposes.

  • You will provide approved project documentation (CPA’s and budgets/estimates) to Account Management and own these through the process internally and on larger scopes of work, present to client directly.

  • On F3 briefs (execution/non-strategic/direct to studio), you will take briefs directly and manage the process with the client from brief to final delivery/supply.

  • You will oversee the internal department briefings ensuring the process is followed, the correct project documentation is used at all times and that necessary departments are at briefings and sign off when required.

  • You will own the change request process, documenting and flagging changes to the account team and ensuring changes are billed accordingly or recorded for internal evaluation purposes.

  • Working with the RM team, you will be aware of billing milestones and ensure reconciliations are completed to ensure prompt billing.

  • You will coordinate internal and client Pre Production meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are prepared and documentation is distributed and updated pre and post-meeting.

  • You will track projects through the process and agreed evaluation criteria and report on the internal process at project evaluation/wash upstage( via the metrics supplied) to inform the Project Director/Ops Director on continuous improvements.

  • You will produce simple digital projects from brief to final delivery.

  • You will take responsibility for managing an account executive and ensuring that they develop and grow into their role and guarantee their work meets the agency standard.

  • Ensure they learn all skills necessary to gain the confidence of clients and be an influential team member.

  • Ensure the account executives attitude and approach reflects the agency’s philosophy.

  • Own the delivery of projects for your business unit, spanning multiple workstreams.

  • You will be accountable for the production of small digital projects, including scoping, implementation and evaluation.

  • You will be accountable for accurate project documentation throughout the process, keeping it up to date and informing the project team of changes to the scope of work.

  • You will be accountable for all of the information is accurately entered and reconciled in Workbook.

  • You will be accountable for proactively identifying risks to delivery, escalating when necessary to avoid commercial risk.

  • You will be accountable for tracking projects against the agreed evaluation criteria, gathering information for the project wash up/evaluation stages of projects.

  • You will monitor out of scope situations and agree on appropriate action with the Project Director (in particular requirements that could lead to an incremental resource).

  • You are accountable for managing an account executive, ensuring that they develop and grow into their role, and identifying their training requirements.
