Responsible for placing Cross Connect orders and establishing Peering connection with different global network entities.
Assigns patch panel and ports correctly.
Ensures accurate creation of contract for cross connect orders
Places order requests for router patching if applicable.
Ensures accurate creation of circuit path designs.
Responsible in performing light test, ping test and BGP test.
Develop and document test process and procedure for testing network systems and peering services.
Develop and perform Validation techniques for Quality of Peering connections and Cloud data centre connections
Escalates missed milestones, ping testing, and overseeing implementation of network capacity for corporate offices and data centres worldwide.
Manages cradle to grave implementation activities to meet aggressive deadlines
Leads discussions with carriers and external customers, work closely with internal departments, and document tickets in status tracking database.
Protects account and organization s value by keeping information confidential.
1 2 years experience in Telecommunications Network Provisioning preferably with a Telecommunications Communications Services company .
Experience and working knowledge on OSI Layer 1 Physical and 2 Datalink troubleshooting WAN point to point connection
Basic understanding of IP and WAN networking BGP, Private and Public peering
Familiarity with SDH, SONET, and Ethernet concepts
Basic knowledge of cabling infrastructure such as patch panels, cross connects and fiber types Experience working with internal groups e.g., order entry, test turn up , and third party client vendors and LEC s.
Good English written verbal communication and customer engagement skills Strong focus on providing an outstanding user experience
Must be detail oriented, with strong organizational skills
Able to work independently and also in a team environment
Experience with inventory database systems
Capable of managing high pressure and short timelines, with the willingness to be flexible Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously and adapt to changing projects and processes
