Experience Lead, Human Insights Lab

Through experiential research and engagement projects, The Human Insights Lab tackles these kinds of challenging questions in partnership with clients and leaders from the humanities, social sciences and culture. Our current research themes are linked to the relationship between people and technology; innovation culture; and alternative pathways for sustainable business growth. 
About the role 
As Experience Lead, you will drive the conception and delivery of creative audience engagement programmes for our research workstreams – inspiring deeper engagement, new partnership opportunities and community building amongst like-minded people. The experiences and relationships you create will differentiate Accenture internally, with our clients and with our ecosystem partners. You’ll need a passion for fast paced, creative work - partnering with world-class researchers to create a shared vision for potential deliverables and realistic timelines. Communication skills are key, to liaise between the goals of research teams and groups across wider Accenture to ensure you’re working to fulfil the needs of our stakeholders, whilst extending our own research agenda. Reporting to the Programme Lead and planning closely with our Creative Producer and Ops Lead, you’ll work in partnership with Content and Research Leads to drive the conception and delivery of this critical aspect of our research and engagement plans.
As our Experience Lead, you will:
  • Manage the development, delivery and evaluation of all experiential aspects of our research and engagement programme – including curated events, live experiments, debates, workshops and exhibitions
  • Work with our research team to identify new opportunities to creatively engage our audiences through compelling and creative experiences
  • Partner with our Content Lead to align our experiential plans with our content strategy, forming an integrated engagement plan for the Human Insights Lab
  • Devise the day to day content to support this engagement plan and all experiential activity, that can be developed further in partnership with our Content Lead
  • Manage community-relations, both in person and through the management of appropriate digital channels, and creation of all necessary content
  • Brief and manage creative partners and production companies working to deliver experiential aspects of our engagement programme
  • Support the stewardship of key cultural and artistic partnerships aimed at developing our experiential capabilities – working with institutions, external researchers, artists and their representatives
  • Run open calls internally and externally to identify the most compelling approaches and ideas to illuminate our research agenda
  • Manage the day to day operation of exhibitions and showcases, including maintenance, mediation and tour management
  • Work with our Operations Lead to build strong and realistic production plans, covering legal, media, marketing and budget development
  • Support the Operations Lead to develop and deliver a Thought Leadership summit
  • Develop a strong network and knowledge of Accenture’s ecosystem, building  relationships both within Accenture and externally in order to promote our approach to experiential engagement

Qualifications

Your qualifications should be equivalent of:
  • 5-7 years experience in events, marketing, production and/or relevant project management roles
  • 1-3 years experience collaborating with researchers to design creative engagement programmes around active research projects
  • 1-2 years experience with community-building or social media
 
Your skills and experience should include:
  • Previous experience working with academics, research institutions and artists
  • Experience creating/maintaining program budgets and negotiating with venues and suppliers
  • Impeccable attention to detail and a passion for organisation
  • A strong work ethic and a positive and proactive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with multiple projects as part of a wider programme
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects at once
  • Ability to travel, as needed
