Job Specifications

We are looking for a seasoned, experienced and agile marketing leader to join the Accenture Strategy Marketing & Communications team. The individual will play a leadership role in positioning Accenture Strategy distinctively from our competitors and as part of the E2E Accenture story through thought leadership.  Three major focus areas: 


Story Telling:  
  1. Establish and manage relationships with subsets of Accenture Strategy business stakeholders.
  2. Be fluent in the client issues underpinning their go to market approach and business plans. 
  3. Leverage primary research and mine for secondary research and related analysis to deliver multiple pieces of thought leadership—in multiple formats -- each FY to support the differentiated positioning for Strategy 
  4.  Work with Strategy M&C leadership, business senior executives and writers to craft the final content pieces 
  5. Be responsible for ensuring consistent and differentiated messaging through all internal and external assets related to each piece of thought leadership
Story Mining:   
  1. Be the ‘keeper of the story’ across Strategy and M&C overall to socialize those individual pieces of thought leadership  
  2. Contribute to the ongoing identification of new topics for the annual thought leadership agenda. 
Story Selling:  
  1. develop and lead the informational and internalization workstream around each piece of TL for our internal business stakeholders and M&C colleagues 
  2. contribute to the decisions around promotion, monitor performance and resultant adjustments

Educational Qualification

University degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field OR master’s degree in business/MBA

Additionally, the individual will excel at the business operations needed to optimize the agile, on time and on budget delivery of campaigns to agreed outcomes. 

  •  Embrace and enable an analytics mindset.
  •  Manage and motivate flexible, virtual project teams of marketing colleagues, writers, agencies and shared service members in a hard charging and outcome oriented environment. 
  •  Manage program budgets 
  •  Manage monthly and quarterly metrics reporting for programs

Other Requirements

problem solving and critical thinking skills; strong executive presence, superior communications skills both orally and in writing and a track record of being able to influence without authority across a broad range of senior executive stakeholders and marketing colleagues. They will have a track record of working effectively in digitally dominated landscapes where they were expected to continually innovate. They will see themselves as evangelists for the very disciplined, research backed, content led approach at the core of our marketing strategy. They will be assertive, articulate and agile in their work style.
