Our mission is to publish a yearly Technology Vision, produce patents, explore emerging technologies and develop compelling prototypes that demonstrate the business implications of emerging technologies for various industries. Our Labs are located in 7 geographies: Silicon Valley and Washington D.C. (USA), Dublin (Ireland), Sophia Antipolis (France), Tel-Aviv (Israel), Bangalore (India), and Shenzen* (China). Current R&D focus areas include: Digital Experiences, Artificial Intelligence, Systems & Platforms, Security, and Application Engineering.

Role Description:

Our Infrastructure Operations Team is responsible for supporting the following work streams:


  • Labs Core IT Infrastructure: Labs network and on-premise datacenter administration, cloud-based environments - cross-node interoperability, collaboration tools.

  • Labs R&D: Build, configuration and maintenance of development and staging environments for Labs developers (network, application servers, workstations, laptops, etc.)

  • Labs Client Showcase: Support, maintain, upgrade our execution / production environment (client demos) including immersive showcases and briefing center facilities.  This encompasses the full technology stack from IT Infrastructure to Audiovisual equipment and specialized demo gear (e.g. wearable computing).


The Tech Support Sr. Analyst / Specialist supports both the Workshop and Infrastructure Operations team within a single Lab node. He or she supports the roll-out and maintenance of Labs IT needed to conduct R&D activities in that node, develops and supports technology and for the showcase, manages technology procurement and asset inventory.  He or she also provides technical support during Labs visits and maintains collaboration tools such as video conferencing.

o    Dublin Labs IT Operations Lead

o    Geographic services (IT and Facilities)

§  Cloud: Amazon Web Services, Azure, Google, etc.

§  Power Shell Scripting

§  Backup/Storage

§  Maintenance + live technical support of Labs demos in Dublin (at the Dock and for offsite events)


o   Assisting with Global iOPS security Vulnerabilities and Compliance issues

o   Assisting with Labs Client Data Protection (CDP) Plans


o   Audio/Video (IP convergence)

§  Video streaming / recording + Video Conferencing Setup

o   Backoffice

§  MS Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)

o   Interest in emerging technology trends and how they impact the business

o   An interest in NVidia Graphics cards, Virtual reality / 3D
