The EH Recruitment Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of EH recruiters for Corporate Functions, FS and CSGs to deliver high quality recruits to the business in accordance with demand and associated recruitment targets.  The individual will work with the TSC Lead, TSC team, the HR team and all recruiters to define and set the strategy and execution of candidate sourcing and recruitment processes. This involves collaborating to develop innovative sourcing strategies and ensuring that recruitment processes and activities are effective in delivering a 'best in class' business stakeholder and candidate experience linking closely with TSC.




  • Collaborate with the Talent Supply Chain and Managing Director teams on supply and demand planning across all business areas
  • Define and prioritise the strategy for meeting EH recruitment demand across all business areas and ensure that it is in line with the company's business strategy, policies and marketing messages
  • Recognise and monitor external marketplace trends and adjust overall recruitment strategy to ensure continued ability to hire the best people
  • Work with Recruitment Marketing team to develop innovative sourcing strategies using appropriate channels in a cost effective manner
  • Consolidate and analyse external competitor intelligence and adjust recruitment strategies as needed
  • Develop strategies to address any radical fluctuations in demand
  • Link in with global contacts and be the key point of contact for the Ireland EH team on all candidate management activities
  • Drive global candidate management agenda locally
  • Work with Ireland HR Diversity lead to drive this agenda in hiring


Stakeholder Management:

  • Hold and manage the key relationships between EH recruitment and business leads across all business areas
  • Work with the Managing Director teams to maximise business engagement and support in all recruitment activities ranging from interviewing commitment through to faculty support at careers fairs
  • Ensure that key business stakeholders and HR teams are updated on a regular basis on the status of the recruitment pipeline and metrics, initiatives underway and challenges/risks. Secure business sponsorship to address challenges
  • Take a lead role in promoting recruitment activities across the business, Recruitment and HR
  • Respond to queries and requests for information from stakeholders
  • Report on status and effectiveness of recruitment progress/metrics, activity, and issues



  • Jointly (with Ireland Recruitment Marketing) set out annual/quarterly schedule of recruitment events to support recruitment activity
  • Drive delivery against recruitment metrics (cost per Joiner, time to hire, diversity etc.) and take appropriate action to improve performance against KPI's, where required
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, simplification and industrialisation of recruitment processes - plan and implement as appropriate
  • Drive the EH diversity strategy
  • Oversee the management of vendors, to ensure effective "partnership" relationships
  • Maintain accurate reporting and candidate management systems



  • Directly manage EH recruiters
  • Set clear objectives and provide regular performance feedback, to track individual progress and development (with support of relevant Recruitment Lead)
  • Monitor and manage productivity within the team
  • Proactively manage workload, ensuring appropriate delegation and coaching
  • Identify training/knowledge gaps and roll-out appropriate training and coaching programmes
  • Coach the team on stakeholder and candidate relationship building
  • Facilitate teamwork, identify issues affecting team progress and motivation and recommend and drive through solutions


Knowledge and Experience required:

  • Significant experience of managing relationships, processes and people in a recruitment - or other related/relevant - environment
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of recruitment and sourcing strategies
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of recruitment processes, methodologies and KPI's
  • Excellent stakeholder and candidate management skills
  • Ability to oversee process delivery across multiple entities and geographies
  • Excellent training and coaching skills - able to provide 'best in class' coaching and training to team members
  • Ability to collaborate with key 'partners', including Recruitment Marketing, Channel Management and business stakeholders

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience
