We are looking for a Financial Planning Consultant to join our team to provide budgeting and financial support for The Dock. The working environment is open and interactive, facilitating collaboration with colleagues, clients, customers and ecosystem partners. What you’ll be doing

 

As part of the Operations Team, you will act as the local finance support for The Dock, reporting to the Finance Lead. You will play a key role planning and controlling the operation and supporting the decision-making process with meaningful, consistent and accurate information and insights on The Dock’s financial performance. In this role you will: 

  • Act as local support for the finance operation
  • Support the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts
  • Develop, prepare and distribute monthly financial reports tailored to the needs of the internal clients
  • Prepare executive presentation with main operational and financial highlights with meaningful insights using “friendly” language
  • Engage in monthly results meetings with internal clients
  • Understand variances to the budget and their implications
  • Control the main operational KPIs that act as cost drivers for the financial results
  • Discuss and implement the best accounting practices to control the operation
  • Support the decisions making process with accurate and consistent information

Your skills and qualifications

 

Required 

  • Third level qualification in finance, accounting, business or related field 
  • Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis and Operations Management
  • Highly analytical and detail oriented
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and SAP skills
  • Excellent judgement and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
  • Proactive, process and results driven
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams to deliver results in a complex environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
