We are currently looking to hire a Technical Consultant and SME for ServiceNow’s ITOM capability, with deep expertise across several IT domains including systems administration, networking, and development. Ability to support sales and delivery, with a focus on expanding Accenture’s ServiceNow footprint in the Irish market. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design and delivery for projects relating to-  setting up client CMDB, mapping infrastructure / services, and integrate clients 3rd party monitoring tools into ServiceNow’s event management module.
  • Support business development / sales activities such as conducting workshops and responding to client proposal requests
  • Serve as the central point of contact for project delivery with responsibility for managing client relationship, coordinating with offshore teams, and escalating issues to Accenture leadership as necessary.


  • ServiceNow consulting or advanced system administration experience
  • Intermediate to deep understanding of Ruby and Java RegEx
  • Ability to discuss credentials, install a product, troubleshoot permission issues, discuss and troubleshoot network connectivity with network engineers
  • Acquaintance with Web and Application Servers, Load Balancers, Databases, and Virtualisation (WebSphere, MQ, IIS, Apache, VMware)
  • Ability to comprehend, modify and create server-side object-oriented JavaScript, Unix Shell scripting and Windows scripting and Powershell
  • ‘CCNA’ level of networking knowledge to include routing protocols, TCP/UDP transmission, IP transit diagnosis, sub-netting and implement advanced troubleshooting including the ability to gather and analyze IP packet level data.
  • Intermediate knowledge and ability in Server Administration across OS platforms. Including the understanding of described domain structures, user permission levels, group policy objects and the execution of SUDO Policies
  • Comprehension of and the ability to communicate and implement the ITIL CMDB Model
  • Client facing experience
