Summary of the role:

This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of the team of contract managers, risk managers and data scientists driving innovation in Contract Management practices, technology and deployment to manage contract risk for Accenture.

Key responsibilities of the role:

Specifically, this role will assist in risk management across the Accenture business through:
  • Risk identification, analysis and mitigation taking inputs from many data sources across Accenture. This will be used to inform and assist leadership in the deployment of resources where the need is greatest and where it will have the most impact.
  • Identification of contractual terms / structures that have resulted in risks and issues in execution / delivery.
  • Knowledge management of best practice in managing contracts in delivery & close out.
  • Creating a reporting feedback loop to improve solutioning, contracting & management of contracts.
  • Assisting in the design of a new integrated technology toolset for contract management.
This role will work closely with the Contract Management operations team across the areas of reporting, data management, communications, quality, and compliance.

This role also provides a unique opportunity to work with teams across the breadth of Accenture, including the Legal, Finance, Quality, and contract delivery teams.

What skills, experience and qualifications are we looking for?

While an understanding of contract management (or a law background) would be an advantage this would not be considered as being a mandatory requirement for this role. The key skills required for this role are as follows:
  • College degree required; degree in business, finance, law, analytics or engineering preferred.
  • Experience of SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience of data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven success in contributing within a team environment.
  • Ability to apply sound business judgment.
  • Financial acumen an advantage.
