Job Description:

● Manage the delivery of large scale network infrastructure projects involving dark fiber, leased circuits, collocation space & power, inside plant fiber, IP Transit and Peering connectivity from inception through delivery. Ensure facilities are delivered on schedule and meet technical specifications.

● Assist upstream planning, design, and acquisition teams in developing infrastructure

requirements, priorities and delivery date expectations.

● Lead kickoff and regular project status meetings while keeping downstream teams apprised of project including POP build and Transport system delivery. Manage exceptions and communicate issues and risks to the rest of the organization.

● Serve as primary vendor manager to ensure correct vendor deliveries for transport system and POP build based on signed contract. Escalate up vendor management chains as necessary if delivery time lines are at risk or inaccuracies are found on vendor deliverables.

● Perform test and turn up processes (w/ troubleshoot) for customer acceptance with vendors upon install completion.

Required Skills and Experience

● Minimum 3 years of Telecommunications / Network Provisioning (preferably with a Telecommunications / Communications Services company).
● Good English written/verbal communication and customer engagement skills
● Full computer literacy, including fluency with computers and software such as email, spreadsheets, etc.
● Must be detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills
● Strong focus in providing an outstanding user experience.
● Basic Knowledge of cabling infrastructure, fiber cabling, connector types, optical distribution frames, splice trays, patch panels, various vendor’s naming conventions
● Basic knowledge on Telephony and how data/internet works 
● Capable of managing high pressure and short timelines, with the willingness to be flexible
● Ability to interface effectively with 3rd party vendors and suppliers
● Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously and adapt to changing projects and processes
● Ability to work independently and work well in a team
● Can work under minimum supervision
