Job Summary:

 

The Operations Recruiting Lead will define and set the overall strategy, direction and execution of the recruiting and sourcing process for all workforces and all levels within a high volume recruiting demand plan.

 

Sitting as part of the Ireland HR Team and the UKI Recruitment Team, the Recruitment Lead will define and set the overall strategy, direction and execution of the recruiting and sourcing process for all levels specifically in support of our Operations BPO organisation.

 

Working closely with the Operations business leaders, this person will lead a large team and partner closely with colleagues in HR and recruitment in Ireland and the UK.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic:

 

With a strong focus on metric lead Recruitment delivery you will:

  • Develop, prioritise and champion recruiting and sourcing strategies and key recruiting initiatives and ensure that they are in line with company's business strategy, global recruitment strategy, recruiting policies and marketing messages. This may include permanent employees as well as the use of contractors and temporary staff and has a strong focus on the recruitment of multiple language skills in Dublin.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the Recruitment function, benchmarking current practices externally to ensure Accenture is the market leader, not the market follower, in this space.
  • Lead change initiatives established by global and area senior executive management. Champion the global initiatives and embed best practice, for example around activity on candidate experience and diversity and inclusion.
  • Recruit, retain and develop the best talent by creating an integrated approach to resourcing and talent acquisition, taking a holistic view across both internal and external talent attraction and engagement.
  • Oversee the development of early identification sourcing strategies as well as external competitor intelligence and analysis, adjusting recruiting strategies as needed.
  • Lead the customisation and enforcement of recruiting strategies, world-class recruiting techniques, tools, processes, policies, and marketing messages provided by the Global Recruiting Team as well as UK&I leadership.
  • Direct the achievement of the Global Recruiting Metric targets. Establish and monitor local recruiting metrics (planning instructions, Joiner Per Recruiter, Cost Per Joiner, Time to Hire, Net Promoter Score) to ensure operations and processes are achieving business objectives.
  • Take responsibility for the on-boarding and induction of new joiners to Accenture, at all levels and across all business areas, ensuring the experience reflects Accenture’s EVP.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define business objectives, metrics and recruiting quality standards.
  • Lead the relationship and act as a “client” to  Accenture HR Shared Services (HRSS) with regards the role they play in the on-boarding process.

Leadership:

  • Lead a large team of recruiting professionals who are responsible for the sourcing / marketing, assessment, confirming and selling phases of recruitment efforts and profile management.
  • Assess the capability of the current team members, supporting any development needs with a coaching style.
  • Oversee the relationship with AHRS, including resources both onshore and offshore. Manage all aspects of this relationship, processes and associated costs.
  • Partner with the procurement function to ensure the effective provision of contractor and temporary staff

Cooperation and Communication:

  • Work with Recruiting team to implement recruiting strategies, processes and tools to achieve recruiting goals.
  • Interface with the Global Recruiting Director, Global Recruiting team, other Recruiting Directors, HR Directors and Leadership to ensure global consistency and alignment of priorities.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with the Operations Leadership Team, the UKI HR Leadership Team, Global Recruiting Director and Enterprise Workforce leadership with respect to all recruiting issues.
  • Act as key point of contact for HR, Finance, Procurement and Recruitment Marketing leadership.
  • Interface with all levels in all workforces to develop valuable internal relationships that will ensure the achievement of recruiting objectives and strategies.
  • Maintain relationships with external vendor suppliers to ensure effective strategies are in place to meet contactor requirements. 

Budgetary & Governance Control:

  • Oversee large recruitment budget to include financial forecasting & spend analysis
  • Accountability and responsibility for ensuring that all process relating to sourcing, attraction and onboarding of talent are robust in aligning with appropriate Accenture policies

Relationships:

 

Reports to: to the Ireland Director and with a dotted reporting line to the UKI Recruitment Director.    

 

Supervises: Recruiting Organisation of over 50 professionals

 

External Relationships: Agencies, Channels/Sources (Universities, Search Firms, Internet Job Boards, Accenture Alumni, etc.), Recruiting and/or HR Organizations, HR/Recruiting professionals in other companies.

Skills & Experience Requirements
  • A minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrable experience of leading large direct sourcing focused recruitment teams within a complex environment, where meeting and managing the multiple expectations of both internal and (external) client stakeholders is the norm. Ideally from within a RPO environment or a comparable complex (possibly matrixed) organizational setting. Proven ability to set strategic direction and devise strategy to meet short-term and long-term business goals.
  • Strong recruitment process design, management administration and governance experience.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills across all levels and demonstrated influencing skills.
  • Clear decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Previous experience of managing change management initiatives
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Previous experience of managing large teams, with proven talent management and development capabilities.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and in a fast-paced environment, metric driven environment
