Design Manager – Employee Experience

Key responsibilities:

On projects, you’ll play a critical role in all aspects of Project Design, leading Design efforts on our most ambitious work. This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is driving positive impact for the employees of Accenture by creating and designing experiences that enable employees to be at their best:

Some key responsibilities will be
  • Lead the design and execution of research efforts to uncover and explore employees needs, bringing research design best practices to the fore
  • Design & lead Design Thinking workshops with our people to uncover their needs and drive innovation and impactful solutions 
  • Lead the synthesis of research, develop deep insights, generate concepts, and craft how to improve our employee’s experiences at Accenture
  • Explain, discuss, and justify design decisions eloquently. Give effective feedback and direction members of the team. 
  • Develop experience & business strategies that place employees and teams at the center of the service/product while balancing corporate business objectives (human centered design focus) 
  • Frame and tell the story of design. Present the communication of research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually. 
  • Lead and support the roll out of current Employee experience projects
Required Skills
  • True love and passion on improving the way our employee’s work and live by transforming our experiences at work 
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with driving and applying user-centered design processes. Accustomed to working collaboratively with internal customers and cross-functional team members.  
  • Understanding of areas of specialization within the greater design landscape, including but not limited to Design Research, Visual Design, and Content Design; willingness to broaden own skillset into adjacent specializations while refining mastery of primary skillset.  
  • Advanced ability to create experience maps, user journeys and service blueprints, interaction models, flows, and wireframes.  
  • Ability to learn new software quickly; experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, is a plus.  
  • Strong problem-solving skills in complex environment
  • Good business acumen particularly of Accenture’s business 
  • Able to manage and support multiple stakeholders 
  • Attention to detail and able to deliver at a high level of quality, on time 
  • Able to progress numerous initiatives simultaneously 
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Business, Human Resources, technology, or related field
  • Psychology or design related qualifications preferred
