Design, Build and Implement Total rewards processes, policies, programs in alignment with Business and HR strategy. Maintain and manage the various Accenture pension arrangements to ensure a high level of service to the members, Trustees and the Company and to ensure compliance within the legislative framework. 

 

Duties: 

  • Develop, review and apply global Total Reward guidelines, frameworks, toolkits and methodologies that align with the business strategy and the vision of HR
  • Ensure the Total Rewards offerings to staff is market relevant, integrated and well recognized by researching best practices, monitoring legal developments and evaluating emerging trends.
  • Actively influence the business strategy to ensure that Total Rewards considerations are appropriately reflected. Requires involvement in setting strategic direction to establish near-term goals.
  • Drive refinement of the Reward Planning and Market Intelligence processes.
  • Management of TUPE / M&A / Outsourcing projects from a Total Reward & Pension perspective including harmonizing terms and conditions, production of a pension schedule, crafting the pension solution, to the transitioning of people from one company or entity to another within the legal or commercial timescales.
  • Responsible for the pension administration. Actuarial and investment consulting is all outsourced, as is the provision of legal advice.
  • Oversight of the actuarial management of the defined benefit plans.
  • Ensure operational procedures continue to be documented and implemented and the reporting processes to management and Trustees are in place.
  • Frequent and timely provision of information to the Company and Trustees, ensuring both parties are kept informed of pertinent issues relating to the plans and the wider legislative and economic framework.
  • Ensure all documentation including the Trust Deed & Rules remain relevant to the operation of the pension plans and to take appropriate action when required to ensure.
  • Project management and delivery of change projects, largely driven by tight legislative deadlines or internal strategy change.
  • Working with procurement to manage contractual arrangements, fee negotiation and supplier reviews.
  • Monitor and efficiently manage the total reward budget and cost of pension schemes on behalf of the Company
  • Implementation and monitoring of data audit trails to ensure due diligence and compliance within the Law
  • Liaison with Internal Controls teams to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley including execution of testing.
  • Multiple project management alongside Business as Usual activities
  • Responsible for the efficient interface between Accenture employees, leadership, HR, payroll and external vendors.
  • Support Total rewards lead in various programs and initiatives in the total rewards area

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

 

Essential:  

  • A clear understanding of day to day Total Reward methodologies and pensions
  • Have a full understanding of requirements and impact of pensions legislative framework
  • The ability to reconcile high levels of monetary data and demonstrate appropriate audit trail monitoring
  • Communicate difficult and complex issues to various groups of individuals at all levels
  • Effectively manage complex problems and reach viable, commercial and practical solutions
  • Experience in related benefits, such as medical programs and insurances
  • Project management experience
  • Experience of managing Trustee, member and Company expectations around pensions
  • Experience in dealing with 3rd party advisors
  • Knowledge of pension investment monitoring processes
  • Maintain audit and internal controls within expected SLA’s along with monitoring and contract management 

Desirable:  

  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of administration and principles of Investment
  • Experience in TUPE, outsourcing and M&A activity
  • Maintain the full running of multiple projects alongside BAU
  • Experience in development of effective communication strategies and programs
  • Experience in process mapping and process re-engineering or improvement
