Scope of Role


The Global On-site (logistics) Support Team will provide on-site session support for training that has traditionally been classified as Central, Local and Virtual.  The team will have a geographic specific presence to support ‘local’ and virtual training events, resources will also be located at each of the Regional Learning Centres in Bangalore, Kuala Lumpur, London, Dublin and St. Charles to provide physical on-site support for events taking place within each region.

The team will have a global set of standard services and processes, the level of support provided for each training event will be determined by the event characteristics and client demand. Assignment of On-Site Support resources will be at the discretion of the Session planner and the Global On-Site Support Team Leads based on the complexity of the session. 

Internally, the team will interface primarily with Session Planners to understand demand and session requirements, however, we will also have strong connections with all of the Delivery Execution teams.

Responsibilities

  • Event manage Accenture’s Training events.
  • Be the “Face of Learning”
  • Onsite logistical session support activities will include - (list is not exhaustive)
  • Manage session intake from Session Planner
  • Arrange and Attend Session Review meeting with Hotel team
  • Manage room set ups – includes AV set up
  • Check Session Material
  • Manage Registrations
  • Meet and Greet and continually Network with Session attendees
  • Manage Housekeeping and Catering with Hotel
  • Resolve any issues that would interfere with the learning environment and successful execution of the training event. Keep the Session Planner and RLC Lead notified
  • Being a first point of contact for Faculty members, Participants and Learning Coaches to ensure their needs are met
  • Undertaking pre and post event administration and set up for all training programmes
  • Occasional travel within Ireland, the UK and Europe to provide onsite session support for all training sessions, as per client demand.

Broader aspects of the role include – 

  • Building positive relationships and work collaboratively with Session Planners and other Global Execution teams
  • Working collaboratively with the Hotel and Conferencing teams to ensure the smooth running of events
  • Personally demonstrating a positive attitude and encouraging the same in team members
  • Fully understand client expectations and requirements and execute work in a manner that demonstrates excellent client focus
  • Maintain a detailed level of knowledge and understanding surrounding Accenture’s training directives and initiatives
  • Maintain a detailed level of knowledge and understanding of the Accenture MyLearning system, and provide advice where requested
  • Facilitate at workshops and specified events
  • Input to simple/complex project proposals
  • Conduct project status reporting as required
  • Demonstrate understanding of budgets, cost drivers and the financial implications of decisions made
