Role Description

The successful candidate will operate as the Change Enablement Manager on one of Accenture’s key Public Service clients, providing differentiated consulting expertise by helping them to develop and deliver a range of change solutions.


This role is responsible for managing and guiding the implementation of Change Enablement activities, and liaising with key stakeholders, in support of nation-wide initiatives, programmes and projects across organisations with up to 15,000+ personnel.


Day to Day Duties

The specific responsibilities of a Change Enablement Manager include;

  • Develop the overall Change Enablement plan and approach for programmes and projects, working in conjunction with key business stakeholders and aligning with the Projects’ Office
  • Lead discussions and share points of view on best practice with clients
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships across the organisation, specifically within the IT Department, across the organisation’s business teams and within the Projects’ Office
  • Lead teams in the change aspects of transformation programmes including communications, training, stakeholder management and change network leadership
  • Manage and oversee the development of key Change Enablement deliverables including, but not limited to: stakeholder analysis, change impact assessment, training needs analysis, training development plan, training materials, communications approach and plan and deployment readiness assessment
  • Manage and escalate risks and issues via appropriate forums
  • Manage post-deployment support and stabilisation for the organisation after service deployment
Required Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a change management / transformation lead role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate client discussions and build immediate credibility with senior level executives
  • An understanding of and passion for current best practice business across transformation and change management
  • Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to operate well as part of a team
In addition, candidates should:
  • Have the ability to lead and inspire teams to deliver successful outcomes
  • Have the ability to work under pressure in a complex environment and to tight timelines
  • Be highly organised, disciplined and driven to deliver the required results
  • Have a hands-on approach to issue resolution
  • Have excellent organisational skills and the ability to interact with staff at all levels in the organisation
  • Have a determination to lead, coach and develop others and share your knowledge of business transformation and change management
  • Have the ability to on-board rapidly
  • Experience of working in the Public Services Sector is considered a plus.
