Operations professionals work on projects across a range of business processes, business applications and information technology. They may provide technology services, such as application management, infrastructure management and systems integration, or they may deliver business process outsourcing services, including finance and accounting, procurement and human resources. Depending on the role, Operations professionals may be based at a client’s office or in one of Accenture’s 50 delivery centers around the world.

The Position: 

Accenture is seeking an Operations Solution Architect Manager who will have responsibility for understanding and translating buyer requirements into a standard offering deal approach. In addition, Solution Enablement Manager will help support the Solution Architect by providing solution design and solution approval process. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Manage all Operating Group, senior client buyer and functional owner relationships for the designated solution
  • Drive the necessary sign-off of the solution with proper input from the Operating Groups on client business objectives, industry, risk assessment, budget and preferences  
  • Collaborate as a key member of the sales team to represent the solution offering to the client buyer and other internal Accenture groups
  • Direct and coordinate with Legal & Commercial and Corporate Transaction Services (CTS) in areas specific to the solution to ensure use of standards
  • Collaborate with the Operating Groups to provide input to Terms and Conditions and in some cases accountable for specific Outsourcing contractual terms and conditions
  • Interface with the delivery organization/s to ensure effective transition, shape services, collaborate on clear solution assumptions and determine appropriate service delivery locations
  • Integrate content from proposal resources; work with details to illustrate compelling story and a winning proposal narrative (including management plans, staffing plans, past performance/experience, transition plans, quality initiatives and other areas) independently and through SME/solution architect interactions
  • Maintain compliance with requirements, internal Accenture controls, external regulations (e.g., procurement process), and sales methodology 
Required Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a consulting or professional services firm
  • Minimum of 2 years in Procurement As-A-Service
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, sales strategy, and/or proposal development roles
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with outsourcing, Solution Planning/Deal Shaping
Preferred Skills: 
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience with data interpretation
  • Minimum of 7 years of advanced expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Minimum 3 year of SAP experience 

 Professional Skills: 

  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member

  • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills

  • This position requires travel of approximately 20%, as needed
