SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Sourcing Execution Senior Analyst will work as a key member of the Europe IT Category Team on the Accenture Internal Account. Within this position the candidate will be responsible for supporting sourcing IT projects and independently managing medium value/complexity sourcing projects and price negotiations with IT suppliers for the UKI. This position will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to further develop his/her specialized skills within the Sourcing and Category Management profession.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Independently manage medium value/complexity sourcing projects for the UKI
  • Lead/Support Local/Global sourcing projects across multiple IT Services and sub-categories - Hardware, Software, IT Services and Telecoms
  • Support client related opportunities for IT purchases in the UKI
  • Manage suppliers through all aspects of the RFx process, when required
  • Independently manage price negotiations for various IT related items – IT hardware, accessories etc
  • Engage with stakeholders to drive and communicate progress on projects
  • Stakeholder relationships
    • TSL: Management engagement meetings
    • TSL: Enablement team
    • Local onsite presence for global or regional initiatives
    • Local onsite presence for vendor audits and supplier meetings (recycling, VAR, networks, client project engagement)
  • Manage standard contracting process with various IT suppliers with the support of Legal Counsel and other internal stakeholders
  • Support Procurement related data and document management requirements
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Procurement / business degree or an equivalent through 2-5 years relevant work experience
  • Procurement experience minimum of 1-2years (preference will be for IT Experience)
  • Experience in commercial negotiations (will be supported by legal & senior procurement category managers / specialists)
  • Ability to engage with senior stakeholder and have experience in stakeholder management
  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks/projects concurrently
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team that may be geographically dispersed
  • London office based (80% of the time)
  • Preference given to candidates with experience in multinational environment

  • Travel could be 15-20% in this role
