Summary:
In this Digital strategy focused role, you will take a leading role in helping our clients in repositioning their business models to excel in the digital age. This will include shaping and selling digital opportunities (including advanced analytics, digital interactive, mobility, IOT, and AI) across our client base. It will also involve responsibility for ongoing delivery and helping clients to adopt the outcomes of our work and move to the next stage in their digital journeys.
You will act as a Management Consultant as part of the Digital Ireland team, with key responsibilities focussing on:
  • Shaping, defining and selling digital opportunities
  • Supporting the delivery of digital projects Accenture clients in all industries
  • Engaging with clients and account teams to understand business challenges and drive value based digital solutions
  • Developing and maintaining a knowledge of key digital developments and trends, and supporting the creation of thought leadership content
  • You will partner closely with colleagues from within Accenture Digital and other parts of the organization to craft opportunities providing the full spectrum of digital services to our clients (advanced analytics, interactive, mobility, IOT, and AI). You will design and close client solution structures for the delivery of these services.
Key Responsibilities:  
  • You will be asked to generate, structure and sell digital opportunities as well as support the delivery of related consulting projects. This will require you to:
  • Have a deep understanding of at least one industry and its specific strategic priorities
  • Have a deep understanding of how digital can help deliver these priorities
  • Have a specific understanding of how digital can help enable improvements in more than one of the following areas: Advanced Analytics, Digital Interactive, IO, AI or Mobile
  • Take direct responsibility for owning and delivering a sales target for a specific set of clients
  • Function as the key point of contact between service delivery (execution teams) and the solution team
  • Understand and translate buyer requirements into a tailored solution offering deal approach, right collection of offerings, solution plan, proposal and cost estimate
  • Support the delivery of client work
  • Manage stakeholders within clients, internally within Accenture and at other third parties
  • Develop the business case to demonstrate the value of digital transformation
  • Understand a range of deal structures including value-based deals, time and material etc.
  • Ability to meet travel requirements - up to 60% - majority within Ireland
Basic Qualifications
  • Significant and demonstrable experience in digital technologies and digital transformation design and/or delivery
  • Experienced in structuring a complete solution to meet complex client needs
  • Ability to structure and write convincing, evidence-based proposals which are easy to understand for a non-technical audience
  • Proven ability to negotiate and shape a deal, including understanding pricing and risk
  • Previous consulting experience in a premier consulting firm or strategy firm preferred
  • Proven success in a previous sales/target driven roles
