Role Description:
You will operate as a PM in a functional and/or technical role in a business or systems delivery environment working with on a dedicated client account.
 
Based on the client site, you will be largely responsible for crafting and driving a project to completion and management of stakeholders involved across multiple diverse groups. We are looking for someone with experience in project management, with who can deliver complex technology or business solutions in a client-facing environment.
 
Additionally, you should be able to provide thought leadership to a client & have the ability to support and influence a client in their approach to attain execution excellence of their operations
 
Main Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  • Craft and drive a project from initiation stage to project close.
  • Ensures that project vision and goals are clearly defined and that key stakeholders are identified and on-boarded
  • Responsible for defining, building and maintaining the project plan, roles and responsibilities and communications plan
  • Manages project scope and is responsible for the project methodology, ensuring that templates and work instructions are clear for all project phases and deliverables
  • Drives to ensure that issues and risks are actioned and mitigated in a timely manner.
  • Stakeholder management across multiple business and technical groups
  • Creation of status reports for management
  • Ability to deliver results in a pressurised environment and to ramp-up quickly.
  • Maintain strong client focus at all times.
  • Facilitation of client workshops to present, validate and achieve partner consensus on business approaches, requirements or plans
 
 
Requirements:
  • 4+ years Project Management experience
  • Shown delivery track record in managing/supporting IT/ Business projects across all areas of the IT Delivery Lifecycle
  • Strong executive presence, ability to communicate and influence at senior management and above level.
  • Confirmed critical thinking and ability to handle and address ambiguity head-on
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Relationship building and communications abilities
  • Enthusiastic self starter that requires minimum supervision to get job done
  • Strong Microsoft Project skills, along with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) skills.
  • Previous experience of managing and collaborating with large, disparate and often off shore teams and working in a large multinational in the IT or High-Tech sector
  • Confirmed ability of engaging on complex IT delivery programmes
  • Digital, Web experience desirable
Qualifications:
  • PMP certified or similar qualification desirable
  • Relevant 3rd level qualification - honours degree
 
Technical Requirements:
  • Ability to collaborate with and/or manage complex technical solutions and people
  • Technical experience in one of Solution Architecture, Infrastructure delivery, environments, IT architecture
  • Familiarity with/Exposure to different software methodologies e.g. Agile, Waterfall etc.
