Join Marketing & Communications to help build the Accenture brand in the marketplace, drive sales, support recruitment and enhance employee engagement. All Marketing & Communications activities are aligned with the Accenture business strategy and help drive profitable revenue growth. Marketing & Communications is responsible for global brand management and advertising; global events and sponsorships; internal communications; marketing research; media and industry analyst relations; corporate and financial communications; Internet marketing; recruitment marketing; client-centric marketing; and industry, service line and geographic marketing campaigns.

Job Summary
 
While there will never be a typical day at Accenture, here is a look at some of your responsibilities:
  • Translate ideas into powerful and differentiating initiatives that drive awareness, consideration and preference gains and communicate the full breadth and depth of Accenture’s capabilities and industry expertise
  • Develop thought-leadership communications strategy, positioning, planning, engagement, and content development for senior client executives and leaders 
  • Proactively build strategic plans and identify, evaluate, and pursue influencer engagement opportunities that drive organizational strategy and increase brand awareness for C-suite level leaders
  • Develop core content that is authentic as well as purpose driven while adhering to both corporate and personal brand identities 
  • Develop executive speeches and inspiring, motivating and differentiating strategic message platforms, including positioning, crafting storylines and talking points
  • Counsel client senior leadership in articulating their vision, strategy, and brand story in an effective way that engages with their key audiences 
  • Integrate executive positioning campaigns seamlessly with external and internal communications goals
  • Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders, in-house creative, digital and content development teams and work productively with all other individuals and groups as well as external vendors
  • Ability to function effectively and influence highest levels of leadership within a highly-matrixed organization and to align with company’s global brand and its approach to teamwork and collaboration
  • Effective negotiation and consensus building skills to resolve complex challenges across teams both within Accenture and in outside alliances and clients
Basic Qualifications:
  • Education:  Bachelor's degree or other four-year university degree
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience at a senior level or have held a senior account leadership position in a large agency
  • Currently located within daily commutable distance to the Accenture New York office
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Understanding of Accenture’s business and strategy
  • Strong social media expertise (blogs, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+)
  • Deep understanding of and ability to apply integrated marketing concepts, visual identity, brand strategy and positioning, as well as message development skills
Professional Skills:
  • Ability to provide sound professional advice and strategic counsel to colleagues in key geographies, industries and similar areas of operation
  • Ability to create messages across different areas of Accenture’s business
  • Global perspective and understanding of business marketplace
  • Demonstrate leadership skills with colleagues and agencies
  • Ability to develop and apply creative, workable solutions to project-related issues
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills

Role Requirements:

  • Work Requirements:  Travel nationally and internationally as required
