As an Application Services Account Executive, you will accountable for driving incremental sales in the Application Services arena on existing assigned accounts within the Resources industry. Typically, you will be targeted to a single client but may include multiple geographies or types of work. The Account Executive will work under the sponsorship of the Client Account Lead (CAL)
 
Account Executives will have the ability to:
  • Articulate Accenture's value proposition to the client (educating the client about the efficiencies our tools and accelerators)
  • 'Package' unstructured pieces of work into an outlined scope
  • Discuss contractual and commercial constructs of relevant deals
  • Rapidly respond to tactical resource requirements along with an ability to address small to mid-sized projects with technical proposals
Expectations from an Account Executive
  • Drive incremental sales under the sponsorship of the CAL and the Operating Group (OG) Application Services Lead, with a focus on growing the Application Services business
  • Be 50% chargeable to projects and 50% on business development in Year 1 and aim to be fully funded by project from year 2
  • Generate additional revenue as agreed with the CAL and the OG Application Services Lead
  • Develop and handle client relationships at the mid-management levels (below the CXO) to identify business requirements and define service requirements for new services
  • Use THEGlobal Delivery Network (GDN) capabilities to influence resourcing strategies
  • Work closely with the CAL, and the GDN to contribute to the scope of work, schedule and cost
  • Be responsible for the operational and financial performance of the incremental sales on account
  • Participate in account planning and forecasting activities
Basic Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a rapidly growing account
  • Client relationship management and client acumen
  • Contract management, negotiations and financial management
  • Capability to establishing relationships with CXO/Director/VP level client contacts
  • Deep Account Management and Project Management experience
  • Deep understanding of new/Digital Technology and its impact on business and applications and industry specific business issues and drivers
  • Proposal/RFP creation and leading RFP/proposal presentations
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Passionate about learning
  • Prior experience of working with an IPP and engaging with clients within the Resources/IT segment in a sales leadership role as a Business Development Manager, Account Manager, Sales lead
