What responsibilities will you have?
Sales Lead for Products Application Services in Ireland will be working across multiple clients, all in Products Industry. This will include; Consumer Goods companies, Pharmaceutical companies and Retail. The Sales Lead will work collaboratively with the Client Account Leads for the major accounts, and also work directly with the Technology team in Dublin. The requirements of a typical Sales Lead are:
  • A technology account management and sales capture background with strong client-facing skills
  • Previous experience in any of the top consulting companies, IPPs or equivalent, with particular exposure to leveraging a similar model to drive growth
  • Extensive work experience with a global delivery centres and at client sites
  • Proven experience of selling in the Irish market
The Sales Lead will be responsible for:
  • Developing opportunities in the Irish market place for Accenture’s Application Services
  • Coordinating a response for existing leads in the Irish market
  • Articulating Accenture's value proposition to the client (educating the client about the efficiencies of our tools and accelerators)
  • Discuss contractual and commercial constructs of relevant deals
  • Rapidly respond to tactical resource requirements
  • Organising quality RFP responses
  • Driving incremental sales under the sponsorship of the Client Account Lead (CAL) and the Operating Group (OG) Application Services Lead, with a focus on growing the Application Services business
  • Generating additional revenue as agreed with the CAL and the OG Application Services Lead
  • Developing and manage client relationships at the mid-management levels to identify business requirements and define service requirements for new services
  • Leveraging Global Delivery Network (GDN) capabilities to influence solution and resourcing strategies
  • Working closely with the CAL, and the GDN to commit to the scope of work, schedule and cost
  • Participating in account planning and forecasting activities
External Skills & Experience
  • Experienced Manager or Senior Manager
  • Needs significant experience in sales in the Technology space - SAP or packaged software Sales experience
  • Experience in working with Product Companies
  • Able to work self-sufficiently
  • Good understanding and connections in the Irish market - Consulting background
