Job Description
The Consumer Analytics / AI Manager both leads a team and works as a hands-on Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) practitioner to deliver innovative analytics projects. The nature of these projects changes as ideas and concepts mature, ranging from research, proofs-of-concept and the art-of-the-possible to the delivery of real-world applications for our clients.
They collaborate across our teams to identify and nurture breakthrough ideas and concepts that embody the transformative impact of analytics. Collaborating with client stakeholders, designers, business subject matter experts, software developers and technology delivery teams, they take concepts on the journey from idea to reality. 
They must have industry and technical expertise in the area of Advanced Analytics and understand the key technology trends in the analytics domain, the business implications, and be able to match the future opportunities of those to the current and emerging challenges of our clients.
They will also be an active contributor to the leadership, direction and strategic vision and roadmap of Consumer / User Experience Analytics within the Centre for Innovation.
  • Degree in  Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related scientific discipline
  • 4-7 years of experience in statistical modeling, machine learning, data science and unstructured data analytics
  • 4+ years of project or program management
  • 4+ years technical team manager experience
  • 4+ years industry experience in Consumer Analytics, Marketing Analytics, User Experience Analytics or other relevant analytics domain(s) preferably in Financial Services domain
  • Proficiency in statistical and other tools/languages - R, RevR, SAS, Python, Java or similar
  • Experience working with large data sets and tools like MapReduce, Hadoop , Hive and equivalent technologies
  • Experience with or exposure to Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Cognitive Computing or Artificial Intelligence
  • Proven ability to work in a global collaborative and multi-discipline team environment
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management capability across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
