CAREERS

Technology Analyst Group

Use your passion, expertise, judgement and in-depth understanding of technical capabilities to help us create winning solutions.

INTRODUCTION

Within Accenture, our technology graduates are focused on application development, solutions delivery and software maintenance. Their role is to implement innovative technology solutions to meet the needs of Accenture’s clients and enable them to become high-performance businesses.

Upon joining the Technology Analyst Group, you will be part of a team of IT specialists working in client-facing roles in many of the world's best-known companies, household names at the front of their field in virtually every industry.

We’re helping clients to implement previously unimaginable concepts, often using leading-edge technologies on projects that are pushing the boundaries of what is technically possible. Depending on the nature of the project, you could find yourself working with technologies such as Java, C#, AWS, Machine Learning Protocols, and Hadoop among others. Accenture is also researching advancements in the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence for particular clients.

There are three streams to choose from in Technology;

  • Business & Technology where you'll work across and oversee each phase of a project;

  • Software Engineering where you'll be developing cutting-edge technology; or

  • Cyber Security where you'll be helping protect our clients.

Within each stream, you will develop best-in-class technical skills as you take on challenging project work – designing, building and supporting solutions for clients. Depending on the nature of the project, you could find yourself working with new and emerging technologies such as those below:

-Programming Languages:
Java, C#, .Net

Database Systems:
-NoSQL, Hadoop
-Project Methodologies:
Agile, SCRUM, Kanban styles
-Several projects integrate with Amazon Web Services, AWS:
the leading provider of Cloud Services worldwide

Internet of Things:
-Node Red languages and Machine Learning protocols
-Nearables and Wearables development
-Mobile Application development using cross development platforms such as: Xamarin and Applecerator Titanium
You can join the Technology Analyst Group from any academic discipline; we’re particularly keen to recruit graduates from science, technology, engineering and maths backgrounds. You’ll need a predicted 2:2 degree. You’ll have a real interest in software engineering and end-to-end design and delivery, and you’ll also know a thing or two about programming. Overall, we’re looking for a willingness to try new things, a desire for self-improvement and a strong work ethic.
You’ll need to be fully prepared to travel as client projects could take you anywhere in the country – or even the world – though you will be aligned to a base at one of our main office locations in Dublin.
