OVERVIEW

When you join our Analytics Group, you will be part of the global centre within Accenture specialising in combatting fraud through analytics, but we are also aligned closely to our global analytics capability of over 1200 data scientists. This ensures you get all the benefits of the Consulting graduate experience, plus dedicated training, plus project and research assignments in areas including data management, visualisation, advanced analytics, cognitive computing and analytics strategy.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING

We can offer unparalleled exposure to the wider world of analytics, while perfectly positioning you for a career path within our rapidly growing global Analytics Group. Work with high-profile clients on their analytics journey and contribute to advanced projects in areas such as data engineering and analytical model development.

TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

Throughout your career at Accenture, you’ll be encouraged to broaden your expertise and deepen your knowledge, to ensure we are always equipped to offer innovative solution and value to our clients. When you join our Analytics Group this is what you can expect in your first few months with us:

ORIENTATION
& INTEGRATION

2 days at local Accenture offices in Dublin

LOCAL
TRAINING

1 day in local Accenture offices in Dublin

GLOBAL
TRAINING

1 week at Digital New Analyst School in one of our European Learning Centres

The New Joiner Orientation and Integration activities provides all new Accenture employees with a comprehensive understanding of the business we operate in, our culture and core values, and our commitment to the individuals who belong to our company.

Over the course of the programme you will be guided on how to grow your career, and how to make the best use of the many tools and resources available. You will also receive key information on areas such as benefits, performance management, important employee policies & procedures, and the clubs & societies that you can join at Accenture.

When you join Accenture as a graduate you’ll be part of a start group. You'll join at the same time as a number of other people and you’ll go through the initial training and induction together. The induction has been developed to help you settle into Accenture, find out how everything works and meet people in the same position as you so you can start building your network.

HOW DO I APPLY?

To join the Analytics Innovation Centre, you should have a strong quantitative background/degree. This includes courses such as Maths, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science and Econometrics. You’ll need a predicited 2:1 degree.

Candidates should display the following personal characteristics:

Flexibility and willingness to learn in an extremely dynamic environment

Critical thinking and problem solving abilities

Strong teamwork skills

Strong documentation and writing skills

Candidates will also be expected to demonstrate the following technical skills:

Strong aptitude for analytic and logic problem solving

Excellent numeric aptitude

MS Office expertise

Familiarity with any number of the following:

• Statistics and statistical tools

• Algorithmic and complexity evaluation

• Clustering, linear regression and basic statistics

• DBMS and data management

• Data mining

• Data management

• Reporting tools

Programming experience
