I am the workflow lead for a client project in the Benelux market. In my role, I manage the work schedule for the team.
I take ownership of the team's KPIs by producing weekly reports including pivot tables. I am currently also the point of contact for training, and support my supervisor as needed.
An important part of my job is ensuring that we work as a team. For example we constantly have conversations about the strategies and methods we use to help improve our performance. I have been working for Accenture for a year and a half now, and for the last 6 months I have been a workflow lead.
It is definitely my current project as I have grown professionally and personally since I joined the project. I have learned so much about the product we support. I have developed my communications skills, as well as my leadership skills. This project is interesting because it is changing and developing fast, which keeps me excited and ready for every challenge that comes up. I find it incredibly important that everyone is supportive, honest and respectful in the team.
I have grown professionally and personally since I joined my current project.
As a workflow lead I am constantly interacting with my team leaders. We have a lower market team and a higher market team, as well a team in Lisbon. I interact a lot with my agents as well, responding to their questions. I mentor my colleagues to ensure best practices are followed. As well as this, I interact with operations managers, and complete my required daily tasks/reports.
What I love the most about working at Accenture is definitely the people. You can learn so much from each other, and you can really develop yourself in a multicultural environment.
In my spare time I love to go for a hike and explore Ireland. I love to travel as well when I have the chance. Prior to the COVID-19 I did salsa dancing twice in the week.
As a word of advice, I would say it’s important to have patience and try to learn as much as you can, by showing an interest in the areas that appeal to you. Networking is really important. Always be proactive if you want to grow and develop yourself.
Search open positions that match your skills and interest. We look for passionate, curious, creative and solution-driven team players.
