Lights. Camera. Action. My Life @Accenture!
By: Nubi Kayode
It's not just a recruiting pitch when you hear you get to work on so many interesting projects at Accenture. No doubt it was one of the main reasons for taking up the 6 months internship prize after winning the Leaders of Tomorrows award and in less than 8 weeks I have seen this is true, having experienced it myself.

In fact I had to start a little bit earlier at Accenture as there was an opening for role on a project that my mentor thought would be a best fit for me and he was not wrong at all as I have enjoyed my every minute working on a technology project for one our clients in the Financial Services group.

My most recent mini-project within that project was a video production. Yes, I got to play the role of script writer and co-producer and it was nothing short of exciting. These are transferable skills I get to develop as an Accenture graduate and had no clue I'd be doing anything close when I signed up to work on the main project weeks earlier.

I've also had the opportunity to harness my skill and proficiency in the area of social media strategy; so it very evident that Accenture is one place you're allowed to apply your existing skills while developing new ones. As to what next I'd be working on next month I have no clue but sure can't wait to get started.

Note: Applications are now open for the Leaders of Tomorrow 2014/15. Apply here.
