First, I check my to-do list for the day and organize my workspace. At times, I have quick chats with the team on some issues. Then, I will spend the rest of the day doing my tasks, attending meetings with the clients or the internal team or checking and responding to e-mails. Before the day ends, I will check my calendar to find out the meeting schedule for tomorrow and prepare my to-do list.
The most exciting project I had was when I joined an Accenture team to handle ERP implementation with SAP for one of the leading telcos in Indonesia. In this project, I experienced the full cycle of SAP implementation. We handled SAP S/4HANA and SAP Contract Lifecycle Management for the procurement area, including demand planning, source to contract and requisition to pay processes.
I loved that my team was very supportive. We maintained a collaborative environment, working towards the goal of the team and project while establishing a friendly and helpful surrounding.
As I’m working in the SAP field, I regularly develop new SAP skills especially in the Material Management area. Accenture encourages the improvement of our skills. This means we have access to a digital library where we can find many training programs, not only for SAP, but for all capabilities. On top of that, Accenture has many highly skilled people, so sometimes I consult and learn from them.
I like that, at Accenture, everyone is treated equally and fairly, regardless of tenure and career level. I can easily connect with someone who has a higher position than me to get advice and have a chat with them like a friend. Besides that, Accenture provides a supervisor and career counselor who always supports and motivates me on my work and attitude.
For work-life balance, I always find time to go out with family or even friends on weekends or just simply watch movies.
