Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying system anomalies and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and collaborating with different teams to maintain system stability and performance, thereby supporting the overall business objectives effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and challenges.
- Document findings and solutions clearly to support knowledge sharing within the team.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools.
- Provide timely updates and communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding issue status.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex SAP ABAP programs and HANA database interactions.
- Strong understanding of SAP system architecture and integration points.
- Ability to analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify root causes.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA Studio and related development tools.
- Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
