Job Description

Client & Project: We are seeking for a new talent to join the Software Engineering team where you will have the opportunity to collaborate in the project '9940381889 - NS Project Cloudberry'. The client is SINGAPORE DEFENCE & PUBLIC SAFETY, a company focused on ensuring public safety and defense.

Responsibilities:

  • As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements.
  • Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
  • Responsible for team decisions.
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
  • Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Develop innovative solutions using Spring Boot and React.js to enhance application functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.
  • Implement best practices for application development and deployment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Java programming and Spring Boot.
  • Proficient in web development using JavaScript libraries, particularly React.js.
  • Strong understanding of Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE).
  • Basic knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and analytically to solve problems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent leadership and management capabilities.
  • Good verbal and written communication in English
