Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager with expertise in Edge Computing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and implementing edge computing solutions, managing cross-functional teams, and driving digital transformation initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a deep understanding of the latest trends and technologies in edge computing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of edge computing strategies and solutions to enhance the company's digital capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address edge computing needs and opportunities.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technical experts, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of edge computing infrastructure and applications.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of edge computing solutions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, especially in Energy, and advancements in edge computing technologies, and provide thought leadership on best practices and emerging technologies.
- Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and resources for edge computing projects.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in edge computing, cloud computing, or related fields.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex technical projects.
- Strong understanding of edge computing architectures, frameworks, and technologies.
- Experience with IoT, AI, and machine learning applications in edge computing environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and drive innovation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with data privacy and security in edge computing environments.
- Familiarity with regulatory landscapes and compliance requirements related to edge computing.
- Knowledge of industry-specific edge computing applications and use cases.
