Training
At Accenture, we do not just have learning down to a science. We literally wrote the book on it. Return on Learning, published in 2006, tells the story of how we reignited learning for a whole new generation of Accenture people, including our award-winning study demonstrating the return we get on our learning investment. Your Accenture education experience begins the first day you walk through the door, and continues each day of your career. Every step of the way you’re learning, growing, and building yourself—getting ready to meet the next challenge that comes your way.

Your Career

At Accenture, we take it is as a given that our employees are naturally driven and passionate about advancing their careers to the highest level possible. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.

At the start of each year, you will have the opportunity to map your development plan based on your own career goals. You will be assigned a career counselor, who is usually your direct lead. Your counselor will be with you at each step – coaching you, guiding you toward the right trainings and proper assignments based on your skills and interests, as well as the needs of the business. The counselor will also be checking on your progress and play a key role in your performance evaluation and promotion recommendations.

Accenture also has other coaching and mentoring programs in place to support employees’ professional goals. The Accenture Women’s mentoring program is one of them. Here, we pair female executives with senior executive mentors, provide virtual workshops and networking tips to help ensure the advancement of women at Accenture.

Community

Because Accenture as our home away from home, nurturing good values and strong ties are key components in our – and your – work. We have activities within and outside the company to ensure that no one gets left behind.

Skills to Succeed
One of Accenture’s enduring goals is to make a positive and sustainable impact in the communities we move in. This goal is anchored on our flagship corporate citizenship program Skills to Succeed (S2S).

Our Indonesia employees also participate in community events such as environment preservation activities, volunteering and pro bono giving, where family members can be invited.

Internal Clubs
It’s not all work at Accenture. We strongly value work-life balance because we recognize that happy employees work better, stay longer.

Internally, you are welcome to sign up for any of our interest groups and organizations to encourage work-life balance, provide you support, and grow your social and professional network. In Indonesia, we have clubs for sports (futsal, basketball, volleyball, badminton, ping pong, bowling, tennis, biking) and the arts (photography, dance, music, cinematography).

The pace of work at Accenture can be quite exhilarating – one day you’re in the comfort of the office, the next you’re in the field, at the client site or at the airport. To give you more flexibility no matter where and how you work, we use various technological innovations such as email, instant messaging, laptops, wireless phones, teleconferencing, videoconferencing and Internet access. We also offer a host of flexible work arrangements to make sure you have work-life balance.

Wellness
High-performance starts with being fit to work – whether physically, mentally, psychologically. That’s why we take care of our own. In some locations, we have free gyms and medical clinics that are open to all employees 24 x 7, offer the best health insurance and a competitive medical allowance to cover your out-patient health treatments and supplies, enforce annual physical exams within each employee’s birth month, and employ security personnel who are trained in first aid.

Other wellness activities include blood donation drives, grooming and make-up sessions, and women’s self-defense classes.
