About Accenture Industry X:
A new area within Accenture Hungary is Industry X, an advanced, digitally-enabled planning and investment approach for manufacturing and asset-intensive industries. In your role within the Industry X team, you’ll help clients take advantage of significant market opportunities as digital technology moves across industries. You’ll help them transform their product, manufacturing and product-related service value chains. As part of Accenture, you’ll benefit from tailored career management and specialist skills that will fuel your ambitions in the Industry X space.
Your responsibilities:
You will actively support the development, simulation, and optimization of manufacturing and production systems across various industries, with a focus on process flow modeling, plant layout simulation, and performance optimization.
Depending on your background and interests, you will contribute to one or more of the following areas:
Manufacturing & Process Simulation:
Develop, analyze, and optimize manufacturing and production process simulations using Tecnomatix (Plant Simulation / Process Simulate)
Model material flow, logistics processes, cycle times, resource utilization, and bottlenecks within production and intralogistics systems
Perform what-if analyses and scenario evaluations to support layout decisions, capacity planning, and system optimization
Support plant, line, and workstation layout simulations, including automation concepts and process sequencing
Digital Factory & Simulation Integration:
Integrate process and plant simulation models into existing digital factory and production planning environments
Support the introduction of new simulation methodologies and standards within the organization
Assist with model validation, troubleshooting, benchmarking, and result interpretation
Ensure alignment between simulation models and real-world production constraints
Cross-Functional Engineering Collaboration:
Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, logistics, industrialization, quality, and automation teams
Translate operational and system requirements into simulation inputs, KPIs, and performance indicators (e.g. throughput, lead time, OEE, WIP)
Support technical evaluations related to process feasibility, scalability, and robustness
Requirements & Process Definition:
Support the definition, structuring, and validation of process and system requirements based on performance, cost, space, and flexibility
Track requirement changes throughout the project lifecycle and ensure consistency within simulation models
Your qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, Physics, or a comparable technical field
- Relevant experience or strong interest in manufacturing systems, production processes, intralogistics, or industrial system design across various industries
- Solid knowledge of process and plant simulation tools, ideally Tecnomatix Plant Simulation and/or Process Simulate
